What is a Side Gusset Pouch?

Side Gusset pouches are easy to fill and ideal for securely containing contents without resealable capabilities.  When content is applied the side gussets expand which creates stability.  Side Gusset pouches are designed to be heat sealed closed for optimum airtight freshness, but they can also be rolled or folded and secured with tin ties, clips, tape or labels.

Are Side Gusset Pouches right for you?

Side Gusset pouches are often chosen as a reliable way to store a multitude of granular small loose particle type content such as but not limited to Pet Food, Fishing Bait, Coffee, Grains and Salt for example, but are not limited to loose content, they can also house objects that need to be securely contained without rigidity.

The bags are constructed with food grade materials therefore suitable for food contact applications and provide an excellent barrier to protect your contents from moisture, oxygen, UV light and odours. 

In addition to their versatility, Side Gusset packaging, as with Bottom Gusset Stand Up Pouch packaging are often favoured for their reduced environmental impacts due to the lightweight composition compared to jars, bottles, tubs, and tins for example.  This allows them to be easily transportable whilst lowering carbon footprints resulting in lower shipment costs and they store flat which benefits customers with limited storage facilities.
